A native of West Baton Rouge Parish and a resident of Gonzales, she passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008 in Baton Rouge. She was 68 and a retired sales associate with Wal-Mart. Preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Guist; parents, Edna Bonaventure and Benny Albritton; two sons, Hubert Guist Jr. and Daniel Guist; two sisters, Barbara Newmans and Ella Webb; and brother, Clyde Albritton. She loved spending time with her family and friends and working. Burial in Lusk Cemetery, Gonzales.
