Maxine Marie Croy, age 67, of Marion, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, in her home.
Maxine was born November 3, 1946, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late James Hawco and Marion (Lemoine) Guilbeau. She married Augustine Avila on May 6, 2011, and he survives.
Maxine enjoyed listening to country and western music, dancing and going camping.
Survivors include: husband, Augustine Avila of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Lloyd (Kelly) Matherne, and Todd (Wendy) Matherne, both of Louisiana; and grandchildren, Caleb, Joneh, Cameron, Shyler, and Jonathan.
Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
