FULTON, July 22—A summer wedding was conducted at 8 p. m. Friday night at the State Street Methodist church when
Miss Anna Guernsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Guernsey of Oswego became the bride of Edward W. Chubb, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Chubb, Sr., of 469 South Seventh street. The Rev, John W. Warren, pastor, performed the
Mrs. Helen Horr, of this city, a sister of the bride was matron of honor, and James Chubb, Jr. also of Fulton, was best man. Miss Marion Chubb, a sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor and ushers were Bryant and Irving Guernsey, of Oswego, brothers of the bride.
The bride wore a floor length gown of white marquisette. A fingertip vieil was held wih a crown of orange blossoms. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Horr's gown was yellow chiffon and her accessories were white. Her bouquet was tallsman roses and blue forget-me-nots. Miss Chubb's gown was powder blue and her accessories were white. She carried a bouquet similiar to that of Mrs. Horr's.
Mrs. Chubb, mother of the bridegroom, wore navy blue lace with white accessories and a corsage of summer flowers. Mrs. Guernsey, mother of the bride was gowned in navy and white crepe with matching accessories and wore a corsage of summer flowers.
Following the ceremony the bridal couple were guests at a recetption at the home of the matron of honor Mrs. Horr, 719 Freemont Street. The bridal couple on their return from a wedding trip will make their home in this city where both have positions with the Peter's Chocolate Company.

Anna G. Chubb, 80, of 13 John St. died Saturday at home after a long illness. Mrs. Chubb was born July 8, 1916, in Oswego and had lived in Homer since 1960. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Homer. Mrs. Chubb was employed at the W.T. Grant store in Cortlandville for 10 years before retiring in 1974. Prior to that she had been employed at Elizabeth Brewster House in Homer.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Edward W.; a son, David E. of Springfield, Va.; a sister, Helen Harbottle of Oswego; two stepsisters, Viola Broadway of Minetto and Norma Taylor of Oswego; two stepbrothers, Irving Guernsey of Wisconsin and Bryant Guernsey of Delaware; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 N. Main St., Homer, with the Rev. Richard W. Cowles Jr. officiating. Private burial is at the convenience of the family in Fulton. There are no calling hours.
