COLLENE ADKINS, 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Barboursville, W.Va., was called home to be with her family on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born April 6, 1937, in Logan County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alma and Barbara Terry Gue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Adkins and one daughter, Virginia L. Meadows. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Meadows-Ginn of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Ervin "Ernie" Meadows of Huntington and Gregory Eugene Meadows; one sister, Genieve Adkins; two brothers, Johnny Gue of Barboursville and Jimmy Gue of Huntington; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be after noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
