She was the daughter of Jacob and Catharine Diller Grove. She married George Basehoar in 1825. They moved to Union Township, Adams County, PA in 1828. She supposedly had 17 children. There are records of nine surviving to adulthood and five that died in infancy. The children who survived to adulthood are: Susanna Kindig, Jacob, Margaret Schwartz, Mary Ann, George II, Samuel, David, Elias and Sarah Geiselman [30030413].
