Mrs. Antonia Gross Died Suddenly Sunday Morning at Her Home In Lastrup Village
On Sunday morning the angel of death has taken from this life a very kind and esteemable aged mother in the person of Mrs. Antonia Gross of Lastrup, whose death occured while preparing breakfast at her home in Lastrup village. She arose as usual Sunday morning and after starting to prepare breakfast she was suddenly taken ill by apoplexy which caused her death a few minutes later, at about 7:30 o'clock. She had not complained in the least, of feeling ill at any timer during the past few years.
The news of her death came as a serious shock to all those who have known her. She was a good and kind lady and has gained many friends during her life at Lastrup who very much regret her untimely passing away. During the last several weeks Mrs. Gross received holy communion every day when it was in any way possible to do so, and was undoubtly well prepared when death called her into the eternal life.
