Nancy Ladd Groff Arth, 60, of Drumore, died Tuesday evening from her injuries at the scene of an automobile accident on Route 272, between Quarryville and The Buck.
Her mother, Mildred K. Groff, died three hours later at Lancaster General Hospital.
A caregiver at several nursing homes, Ms. Arth also took care of her mother.
Born in Rawlinsville, she also was the daughter of John H. Groff of Maple Farm Nursing Home, Akron.
She was a member of Chestnut Level United Presbyterian Church, Quarryville.
Surviving besides her father are a daughter, granddaughter; and a brother.
