Funeral Services For Mrs. Elkins
Funeral rites for Mrs. Nina B. Elkins, 44, who died Saturday after an extended illness, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, 1316 Sixth Avenue, south, with the Rev. E.N. Hart officiating. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park was directed by Priest.
Surviving are the husband, W.E. Elkins; a son, William Jr; one daughter, Edith; her mother, Mrs. Lee Grissom, of Culleoka, Tenn; eight sisters, Mrs. J.A. Warden, Little Rock, Ark, Mrs. J.O. Pinkston, Mrs. Charles Denton, Mrs. Billie Lowrance, of Cullekoa, Tenn, Mrs. J.L. Schnable, Mrs. Leslie Doss, Mrs. J.A. Gassaway, of Decatur; Mrs. Irlando Williams, Mt. Pleasant, Tenn,; two brothers, J.M. and Jim Grissom, Culleoka, Tenn.
Active pallbearers were Charles Denton, Orlando Williams, Billie Lowrance, J.A. Gassaway, J.D. Schnable and Leslie Doss.
Mrs. Elkins, widely beloved thru out Decatur, was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and was active in religious affairs until the time of her illness.

She was the daughter of Lee Grissom and Minnie McKelvey and the wife of William F Elkins.
