She was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Sturgis, a daughter of Adam and Sadie (Bruaw) Grissinger. A 1932 graduate of Sturgis High School, she resided in the St. Joseph County area most of her life.
On Dec. 16, 1932, she married Paul C. Davidson in Howe, Ind., and he died Jan. 15, 1993.
She was employed for 15 years as a manager of the hot lunch program for White Pigeon High School, and she made cakes for all occasions for the Tasty Nut Shop of White Pigeon.
A member of the First Presbyterian Church of White Pigeon and the Ladies Guild of the church, she also belonged to the Alba Columbia Club. Kessington club, and the Grange, all of white Pigeon. She served as a St. Joseph County 4-H leader for more than 30 years, and was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Katie Davidson of Centreville and John and Reggie Davidson of Canton; six grandchildren, Erik G. and Mark of Seattle, Wash., K. Megan of Ann Arbor, Joseph C. of Kalamazoo, Nicole A. of Canton, J. Mathew of Ypsilanti; one great-grandchild, Benjamin C. Davidson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her twin sister and two brothers.
Relatives and friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon, where services are 3 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wilbur Brandli officiating. Burial will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or the White Pigeon Township Library.
