Bill Grigsby, 70, of Cave City died Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home.
He was born in O'Neal, Arkansas on September 18, 1943 to Ernest Neil Grigsby and Lena Jeane (Wright) Grigsby.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sweet Springs, Missouri.
For 40 years, he was self-employed as an auto mechanic. He particularly liked to weld, was very detailed oriented and a Mr. Fix It.
Bill was a great story teller and enjoyed teaching his family gardening, mechanics, and hunting. He enjoyed going to auctions and collected bald eagles, figurines and pictures.
Sunday dinners and being with his family was the most important time to him.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Harris) Grigsby of the home; sons, Neil Lewis Grigsby of Concordia, MO and Samuel Alexander Grigsby of Overland Park, KS; daughters, C. J. Lindemann of Grain Valley, MO and Lisa Winter of Oak Grove, MO; stepsons, Keith Goodman of Mammoth Springs, AR and Chris Jirka of Stow, OH; stepdaughters, Bobbi Sutterfield and Beka Smith both of Cave City, AR; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by a brother, Jerry Boyer of Vilonia, AR; and sisters, Patsy Hilpert of Batesville and Mary Roberson of Pleasant Plains.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
