Florence B. Crossin of Mercer Avenue, Kingston, died Thursday at Hospice St. John in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born Sept. 12, 1913, in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Michaelene Yenalevitch Grigas.
She was a graduate of the former Luzerne High School.
She owned and operated Frances' Hair Styling Salon, Main Street, Edwardsville, for many years.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and its Altar & Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 102 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 283 Auxiliary, both in Kingston.
She and her husband, Edward M., celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Oct. 18.
She was preceded in death by brothers, A. Thomas, Joseph and Edward Grigas; sisters, Albina Sherin, Ann Kotis and Helen Hillcoat.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a sister, Margaret Shamis, Edwardsville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 333 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anne's Chapel, corner of Hoyt Street and North Loveland Avenue, Kingston.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pringle.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
