Elora Griffith Angel

Burnsville, N.C. - Elora Griffith Angel, 79, of Conover, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ida Peterson Griffith.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elena Bartlet.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Carroll W. Angel; two daughters, Dainne Vickery and husband, Michael, of Hampstead, and Sheila Nelson and husband, Chip, of Asheboro; a granddaughter, Courtney Vickery of Charlotte; and two sisters, Eloise Edwards of Nashville, Tenn., and Elma Ryan of Johnson City, Tenn.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Holcombe Cemetery.
