Mrs. Katherine Abbett, aged 53 years, died at her home on north Pearl street Sunday afternoon about 3 o'clock. Funeral from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted, by the Rev. Alexander Sharp with burial in the City Cemetery. The funeral will be private.
Mrs. Abbett was the widow of the late Smith Abbett. In addition to losing her husband, she lost two sons, Edgar and Joseph, within the past few years. The only surviving member of the family is Roy Abbett, who lived with his mother. Mrs. Abbett had been ill for several months and for some time her suffering had been acute. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a woman who had a large circle of friends in this city.
