The wife of the late Robert E. Bailey, she was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Emily Culbreath Griffin. She had been a Pittsgrove resident for 48 years, moving to this area from Philadelphia, Pa.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed with Green Giant Foods Co. in Vineland.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Deptford Church of God and had been a volunteer at Elmer Hospital for 20 years. She was a former member of the Elmer Hospital Board of Ethics. She enjoyed antique hunting and flea markets.
Survivors include: a daughter, Carolyn Knox, Pemberton and one grandson, Nathaniel R. Knox, Pittsgrove.
Rev. Lynford Jamison will conduct funeral services in the Deptford Church of God, 1076 Mail Ave., Deptford, on Tuesday morning, Feb. 22, at 11:00 O'clock. Burial will be in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
