Jolene, 69, of Charlotte passed away October 26, 2014 at Eaton Community Palliative Care of Charlotte. Jolene was the daughter of Wendell (Ben) and Frances Griffin.

Many will remember Jolene as a compassionate, caring woman who was always willing to open her heart and her home. She loved gardening and bird watching. She worked as a dog groomer in Charlotte and cleaned many houses, a job she greatly enjoyed. Jolene was a wonderful cook and, above all, a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Jolene is survived by her daughter, Candace Jo Bahr of Charlotte; sister, Wendy (Ed) Bentley of Greenville, MI; grandchildren, Brandon Bahr of Oak Harbor, WA, Charlie Jo Bahr and Stevie Stephenson, both of Charlotte; great-grand children, Addison and Avery Bahr of Oak Harbor, WA; former husband, Charlie Bahr of Olivet; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dear friend and caregiver, Gina (Braden) Clark.

She was predeceased by her daughter Debbie (Debra) Bahr; son, Todd Bahr; sister, Carol Todd; and her parents.

A private graveside service was held.
