Manuel G. Griego, age 40, beloved son, father, brother and grandson, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 9, 2004. Manuel was a life long resident of Albuquerque. Manuel is survived by his loving parents, Gabino Griego and Gertrude Griego both of Albuquerque, his precious daughters, Sylvia and Felicia Griego of Chicago, his brothers, Ernest, Fernando and Phillip Griego all of Albuquerque, his paternal grandmother, Agapita Tafoya and fiance, Tracy Ray and other beloved relatives and a host of friends. Manuel will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Manuel will lie in state Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave., NW; where a rosary will be recited at 1:15 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Andrew Cordova, Jerry Chavez, Eugene Chavez, Paul Otero, Eddie Jaramillo and D.J. Lopez.
