Linda C. Louden, 67, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 28th. She was the wife of Adam H. Louden, and together they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on August 16th, 2009. Born May 31, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of Emily Tamburi Grey of Lancaster and the late Harold Grey.
Linda worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, retiring from Windward Travel in Lancaster, PA. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with Adam, gardening, genealogy, and was an avid animal lover.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Adam, her mother, Emily, her sister Joyce, wife of Norman Westgate, nieces, Emily Walker and Debra Westgate, great niece Alyssa Walker and great nephew, Jaden Walker all of Lancaster, and sister and brother in law, John and Merle Morton of Exton, PA, as well as her loving cousins, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Life Celebration Gathering at Fred F. Groff Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Formal services will be held at the Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, Carnegie, PA with interment being held at Chartiers Cemetery in Carnegie, on Monday, August 2nd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Linda's memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603-9983.
