PORT BYRON - Irving C. Gray, 65, of Tex Pultz Parkway died Wednesday at University Hospital, Syracuse.
A native of Savannah, Mr. Gray was a life resident of the Port Byron area. He retired from the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge.
Mr. Gray served in the Army's 70th Tank Battalion during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, Betty, two sons, Irving Jr. of Phoenix and Foster of Auburn; two daughters, Terry Courtney and Linda Brundage, both of Port Byron; a brother, Howard of Savannah; four sisters, Ellen Ticconi of Seneca Falls, Marjorie Noble of Lyons, Mabel Williams of Middle Grove and Ethel Williams of Savannah; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 am Friday William Walters officiating.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. today at the funeral home, 234 N. Main St.
Contributions may be made to the Port Byron Ambulance Fund.
