OPELOUSAS - Fondly known to family and friends as "Dudder", passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord, Tuesday, May 3, 2005, after a long and valiant struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La.
A longtime resident of New Iberia, Lafayette and Opelousas, La., she was born Sept. 21, 1928 in Simmesport, La. to Ruchin Henry Gremillion and Era Pearl Haley.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dwain and Cheryl Broussard, of Pasadena, Texas, and Byron and Vickie Broussard, of Katy, Texas; granddaughters, Julie and husband, Wes, of Kernes, Texas, Meghan and Melanie of Pasadena, Texas, and Haley, of Katy, Texas; and brothers, E. R. (Ed) Gremillion, of Lafayette, La., and A. R. (Red) Gremillion, of New Iberia, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, J. J. (John) Broussard; and her parents.
Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, Louisiana was charge of the arrangements.
