Mrs. Boylan was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Grove City to William Herbert Gregg and Irene Rosetta Black Gregg.

She retired in the late 1990s from Greenville Metal Litho Co., where she worked in accounting. Formerly she worked at Mercer Gas and Water Co. When Becky was first married, she was employed in the parts department of the former Studebaker Garage in Grove City.

As a graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1949, Becky played violin with Grove City High School Orchestra and Grove City College Orchestra. She was a 1952 alumna of Grove City College and, following college, returned and played with the college orchestra for 45 years.

Prior to marriage, Mrs. Boylan was a member of Tower Presbyterian Church, Grove City. After her marriage, she joined Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Wolf Creek Township, where her husband, Donald W. Becky liked reading, sewing and crocheting, but most importantly she loved raising her family.

Her husband, Donald, whom she married April 10, 1953, passed away July 26, 1991.

Surviving are four children, Evonna B. Phillips and her husband Paul, Royersford, Pa.; Christina L. Sonntag and her husband Alan G., Volant; David H. Boylan and his wife Deborah, Lebanon, Ohio; and Herbert A. Boylan and his wife Cheryl Griffin, Parker, Clarion County; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
