Mrs Myra Gregg Davidson, 84, died at 11 am today in her home in Carmichaels after an illness of less than one day. Mrs. Davidson was born Aug 17, 1858 in Carmichaels and was a daughter of Aaron and Phoebe Rhoda Barnes Gregg. She spent her entire life in Carmichaels and was a lifelong member of the Carmichaels Methodist Church. She was one of the best known residents of her community. She was the widow of James Calvin Davidson, and the mother of four children, Lillian Davidson at home; Barclay Davidson, Carmichaels; Robert of Indiana, and Lona Gregg Davidson, deceased. One sister also survives, Mrs Rhoda Neal of St Augustine, Fla. George Davidson and Alex Davidson, undertakers at Morgantown, W Va are brothers-in-law.
