She was born November 6, 1931, in Lone Pine, a daughter of the late James and Florence DeRose.
Mrs. DeRose was the wife of the late Louis DeRose; beloved mother of Dan DeRose of New Orleans, La., and Jill (Phil) Romano of Washington; loving grandmother of Tina Kay, Sarah DeRose and Dominick DeRose; and cherished great-grandmother of Logan, Brialya, Landon, Cheyenne, Karah, Jasmine and Seaira.
Also surviving are siblings James Franklin (Sue) Gregg and Cledda Lynn (Lenny) Deloia, both of Washington.
Her love and adoration was spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and liked to play Rummikub with her girlfriends.
After retirement, she enjoyed her time living in Port Richey, Fla. She will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her.
At the family's request, all services will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care by Danielle Andy Belusko, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-260-5546. Inurnment will be privately held in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veterans organization of one's choice.
