Gracie was the 3rd of 10 children born to John Henry Greening and Mary McCarty 'Carty' Kenner Greening. She married James Clyde Baldwin 31 Jul 1921 in Crowell, Foard, Texas. Preceding her in death were her husband 1976 and a son, James Henry Baldwin 1969. Survivors were daughters, Francis Louise Smith, Thelma Maxine Wininger, Mary Edith Barnes and sons William 'Bill' Hines, Charley Wade, and James Clyde Baldwin Junior.
