Pensacola News Journal, Dec. 13, 1916 - Mrs. F. A. Boghich Expires After a Lengthy Illness. Mrs. Leona Clara Boghich, wife of Captain Frank A. Boghich, expired at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence, No. 603 North Hayne Street, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, four children, four grandchildren and numerous other relatives. The surviving children are: Mrs. Walter Langford of Marathon, Fla., Eugene E. Boghich, of New Orleans, Frank A. Boghich and Leslie Boghich of Tampa.
Mrs. Boghich, nee Greene, was born in Santa Rosa County, Fla., in 1860 and was married to Capt. Frank A. Boghich in 1877. They moved to Pensacola in 1886, and have been here ever since.
She was a devout Christian woman, a member of the First Methodist church. She was also a member of the Woodmen Circle, Naomi Rebekah lodge No. 10, and Royal Neighbors, and in each of these fraternal societies she was very active in the relief of the sick and distressed.
The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at an hour to be later announced. The cortege will move from the residence, 603 North Hayne Street to St. John's cemetery for the interment.
All members of Oak Grove No. 4, Woodmen Circle, are requested to meet at the residence of Capt. Frank A. Boghich, No. 503 North Hayne Street, at 2:30 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, December 14, to attend the funeral of our late sovereign, Mrs. Leona Boghich.
