Mrs. Levoy C. Greene, 80, of Bigler, died yesterday, Dec. 10, in the Clearfield Hospital.
Born Aug. 10, 1901, she was a daughter of David and Henrietta (Hubler) Welker. She was a life-long member of the former Shiloh United Brethren Church (now Shiloh United Methodist Church). Mrs. Greene and her husband, Floyd N. Greene, have been married 63 years, Feb. 20, 1982
She is survived by her husband; five children, Harold E. Greene and Chester D. Greene, both of Woodland; Wilbert D. Greene of Martinsburg and Mrs. William (Marietta) Jones of Bigler; 16 grandchildre and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Loren Welker of Woodland R.D. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James and Franklin; a grandson, Franklin; four brothers and three sisters.
The funeral will be held Sunday, at 2 p.m. in the Bigler United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas C. Wolfe officiating. Interment will be in Bigler Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Benentt and Houser Funeral Home Inc. Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Sunday from 1 p.m. until the hour of services.
