RAPID CITY- Betty Cofoid, 82, died Tuesday, October 20, 2012 at Golden Living Center- Prairie Hills.

Betty was born August 6, 1930 in Rapid City to Irvan and Vera Green. She married Harold Cofoid and together had five children. She was actively involved in her children's and grandchildren's activities.

Betty belonged to Ladies Aide and the Extension Club. She loved to knit, crotchet, and play bingo. Betty loved to travel and her trip to London, England was on the top of her list. She enjoyed babysitting and would watch anyone's kids.

She was a resident of Golden Living Center Prairie Hills for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold in 1996.

Survivors include four daughters: Patty Cofoid, Keystone; Dorothy Lesewski, Hill City; Lori Stager, Pierre; Shanna Harris, Box Elder; one son, David Cofoid, Keystone; one brother, James Green, Rimrock; one sister, Irvadean Fall, Newcastle, WY; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Osheim & Schmidt

Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Free officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Following interment, there will be a gathering at the Keystone Community Center with a light dinner, starting at 5:00 pm.
