La Jena Jewel Adams, died Nov. 11, 2005, in Thayer, at the age of 29 years. She was born Nov. 14, 1975, in Salem, Ark., to Richard and La Wanda Pittman Green.
She married David Leo Adams in Thayer, Mo. on Feb. 14, 1997. She was an active member of the Midway Pentecostal Church in Thayer.
Survivors include her husband, David of the home in Thayer; one son, Landon Leo Adams of the home in Thayer; one daughter, La Crysta Jewel Adams of the home in Thayer; her parents, Richard and La Wanda Green of Willow Springs; two brothers, Jonathan Green and wife, Stephanie of Spring, Texas and Micheal Green and wife, Summer, of Willow Springs, Mo.; one sister, Melody Johnson of West Plains; paternal grandmother, Davene Green of Thayer; maternal grandparents, Rev. Wendell Pittman and Jewel Pittman of Willow Springs; great-grandmother, Vernie Forsyth of Willow Springs; her father-in-law, Elmer Adams of Thayer; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Lowery and husband, Tommy, of Thayer; several aunts, uncles, many cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by three infant brothers; her paternal grandfather, A.C. Green Jr.; and her mother-in-law, Fern Adams.
Burial was in the Thayer Cemetery with Pastor Don Tabor and Bro. Charles Barnett officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer
Active pallbearers were Nathan Wheeler, Kelly Pittman, Kevin Pittman, Wendell Bell, Clayton Howell and Torey Thompson.
