Mrs. Earl Green, 78, native of Frankfort, Kansas died of a apparent heart attack Thursday, April 14, 1972 at her home in Manhattan, Kansas. She was the sister of Mrs. Everett Sipple, Marysville, Kansas.
The former Ella Ferris, she was born July 11, 1893 at Frankfort, Kansas and has lived in Manhattan since 1930.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors of America, Woman's Relief Corps, Happy Home club and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary all
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967.
She is survived by four daughters Mrs. Sylvia Prockish of the home, Maxine Brooks, Norwalk, California, Mrs. Mildred Prockish, Wamego, Kansas and Mrs. Helen Casmer, New Jersey; other sisters Mrs. Fern Austin, Zillah, Washington, Mrs. Lydia Osborne, Wapata, Washington; and a brother Marsh
Ferris, Renton, Washington; also fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grand children.
She was a aunt of Howard Ferris and a cousin of Faye Ferris, Frankfort, Kansas.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 17, 1972 at Cowan-Edwards-Yorgensen Funeral Home in Manhattan with burial in Sunset Cemetery.
