Cynthia Denise Green, 53, of Valdosta, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Lake Haven Nursing Home in Valdosta. Cindy was born September 27, 1961 in Albany, GA, to Fred and Janice (Burt) Roberts.
Cindy was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Perry, FL. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family.
She is survived by her two children: Jennifer Nichole Green Moon of Valdosta, GA, and Bruce Thomas Green (Lynn) of Valdosta; a special friend Vince Munoz, her parents Fred and Janice Roberts of Perry; 3 sisters: Debra Freeman (Bryon),Patricia Roberts, and Kimberly Hurlock (Jim); 2 brothers: Fred C. Roberts Jr. (Roxanne “Yogi”), and Rodney Burt Roberts of Perry, 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Carlton Cemetery in Perry with Bro. Darrell Jones officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to any local Alzheimer’s Association. All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
