A wedding of wide interest was the simple one performed Monday afternoon at St. Mark's church when Rowena Robert Green, daughter of Mrs. Rena Maverick Green became the bride of Leslie Fenstermaker.
The Rev. Everett Jones performed the ceremony.
The bride is a prominent member of San Antonio society, and a member of one of the leading pioneer families of this city. The bridegroom, who for the past few years has been making his home on a ranch near Marathon, is a former San Antonian. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Fenstermaker, and received his schooling in San Antonio.
The brides sister, Mary Green, was her only attendant, and Clarence Fenstermaker acted as his brother's best man.
The bride wore a honey-colored wool suit with a becoming hat of sky blue and a matching blouse. Her attendant wore a peach colored tweed suit. Immediately following the ceremony the young couple left on a short wedding trip. They will make their home near Marathon.
