Bertha A. DeHoff age 95, former rural Portland resident passed away Monday in Millers Merry Manor in Dunkirk. She was born in Jay County February 27, 1919 the daughter of Harvey A. and Sarah Jane (Burnett) Green. She was married June 25, 1939 to Jack DeHoff and he died December 16, 1997. She was a homemaker.
 
Surviving are three sons Harvey L. DeHoff of Pennville, James R. DeHoff of Markle and Tony W. DeHoff of Portland, three daughters Charolette Sager of Portland, Mrs. David (Patricia) James of Pennville and Mrs. Shane (Jackie) Houck of Pennville, Seventeen grandchildren, Thirty seven great grandchildren and Fifteen great great grandchildren
 
Funeral services will be Wednesday December 17th at 11:00 A.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Doll presiding. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice, Parkinson's Association or Choice of the Donor.
