Mrs. Catherine Green, widow of John Green residing at 500 Findlay street, died Thursday evening at 8:20 o'clock of the infirmities of age. She had been sick sixteen weeks.

Mrs. Green was born in Fairfield county, June 17, 1824. her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George Hollenback. she has been a resident of this county about seventy-five years. She was married Oct. 29, 1842 (s/b Oct. 9, 1842) to John Green to which union, nine sons were born, seven of whom are living.
They are William R. Green, John E. Green, Luther S. Green, Findlay; Russel B. Green, Kansas; Isaac M. Green, Liberty township, George L. Green, Mt. Cory.

All the children except two were at Mrs. Green's bedside at the time of her death.

Mrs. Green was a good Christian, a member of the First Church of God.

The funeral will take place from the home, Sunday morning at nine o'clock with internment in Clymer cemetery.
