Edwina L. (Gray) Baker, 59, of Hampstead, N.H., passed away with her family by her side Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, Mass., after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. Edwina was born in Annapolis, Md., to the late Edward and Louise Gray. She was the mother of the late John Thomas Baker Jr. Edwina was employed at the Raytheon Company of Andover, Mass., for the past 30 years. She enjoyed sharing her home with her family and friends and had a passion for golf and achieved an elusive hole-in-one at White Mountain Country Club. She enjoyed weekends at Lake Winnipesauke and in the White Mountains. Edwina is survived by her husband, J. Thomas Baker Sr.; her daughter, Tammy L. Baker; her two sons, Edward L. Baker and Mark J. Baker; and her grandchildren, Adam Ginchereau, Eddie Baker, Emily Baker and Thalia Baker. She also leaves her brother, John and his wife Trudy; and her sister, Lisa Bloom and her fiance Roland Davison; and several nieces and nephews. Edwinas family extends a special thank you to the East Team of Merrimack Valley Hospice and to Dr. Khoury and his staff at Commonwealth Oncology. Calling hours will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, Mass. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, N.H.
