William "Bill" Gray, 54, died suddenly at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born in Lancaster, Missouri to Archie and Galelia (Lasley) Gray.
On June 15, 1949 he married Letha Margaret Burr in Lone Tree, Iowa.
William Gray was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the American Legion both in Lone Tree.
He was survived by his wife; one sister, Lillian Harbison, of Iowa City; and one brother, James, of Hurdland, Missouri.
William Gray was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
