Leatha E. Janes: A Tribute From Her Children

We praise the Lord this day for our Mother. She lived a full, loving, helping life, influencing everyone she touched with her loving spirit.

In her happy optimistic conversation, she was always seeking out ways to do something nice for someone in her unselfish quiet manner.

Worshiping was a regular part of her life. She taught Sunday School in her earlier years but seeing all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren in church was real important to her. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She loved to travel, to admire God's great creation, to notice the pretty flowers, to watch and listen to the birds.

The Lord so endowed her with love, kindness, patience, understanding, joy and with a peace loving spirit...everyone wanted to be with her.

May the victorious life of our Mother be a testimony to all of us and cause us to examine our own lives.
