MRS. MARY ROSE BROWN
Services for Mrs. Mary Rose Grau Brown, 86, of 919 E. Seventh St., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Carl Glahn officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at Hughart Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Jennie Stuart Hospital following a short illness.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born Nov. 4, 1881, the daughter of the late William Frederick and Doretta Bauer Grau. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul and the St. Ann Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband, James G. Brown Sr., a stepson, James G. Brown Jr., Philadelphia, Pa.; and three sisters, Mrs. N. A. Barnett, Mrs. W. D. McGowan, both of Hopkinsville, and Mrs. C. M. Whitesides, Nashville, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Jack Lacey, W. D. McGowan Jr., N. A. Barnett Jr., Ralph Giles, Gladstone Major and Timothy R. Meadow.
