Sheila Clark Grant nee Watt, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Sheila Watt was a teacher prior to marrying Peter Grant in 1964. The Grants had three daughters. The family lived in Canada, and moved to London, England in 1974. After 8 wonderful years in England the Grants moved to Kenilworth, Illinois in 1981 and resided in the Chicago area until moving to Ponte Vedra Beach in November 2005. Sheila was very active at Kenilworth Union Church while in Chicago both working and volunteering. She loved to travel, golf, play bridge and read. Sheila was a kind, warm and wonderful wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Peter and three daughters, Wendy (Beau Ward) of Omaha, Janet (Ernie Thomas) of Atlanta and Lynda of Chicago; and 4 grandchildren, Amelia and Charlie Ward and Jackson and Cooper Thomas. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 23rd in Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Salvation Army or your favorite charity.
