LOUIS CORNERS – Mrs. Elizabeth Grant, nee Suhr, passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Grabs, on Monday, death being due to the infirmaties of old age.

Decedent was born in Brooke, Germany in 1832. She came to America at the age of 26 years. She was married to Elisha W. Grant in 1858, and the couple settled on a farm in the town of Schleswig, near Kiel, where they resided for 30 years. Her husband preceded her in death 26 years ago. After his demise she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Grabs, where she has been living up to the time of her death.

Mrs. Grant is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gust Grabs of near Kiel, Mrs. Henry Markwardt of Kiel, and Mrs. Robert Irwin of Cadott. Also one brother, George Suhr of Brillion, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren survive her.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. today. Services by Rev. Theo Gieschen of the Lutheran congregation of Kiel. Interment will take place in the Rockville cemetery.
