Death came suddenly on Saturday Mrach 31, to Mrs Emma Christman. She passed away at st Croix Valley Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Mrs Emma Charlotte Christman was born in Shafer, Minn January 5, 1879. She was baptized and confirmed in the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. On January 8, 1902, she was united in marriage to Frank Edward Christman. To this union three children were born. Mrs Silas Swenson of St Paul, Vernon of Shafer and Mrs George Olson on the home farm. Mr Christman preceded her in death on October 31, 1951, besided the children she is survived by two sisters and one brother. They are as follows Mrs Hannah Edstrom of Shafer, Mrs Ellen Jackson, Bethesda Home, Chisago City and Dave Granquist of Forest Lake. Five grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death. The funeral services were held Thursday April 5 at 2:00pm at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church with Pastor Benson officiating.
