CHARLES PATRICK "CHUCK" GRANO Passed away in Riverside, California Friday, December 16, 2011 at the age of 83. Chuck was born in South Haven, Michigan, Saturday, March 17, 1928, the son of Charles and Lillian (Corso) Grano.

He served our country with pride and honor as a Fireman 1rst. Class in the United States Navy. On Saturday, May 12, 1951 Chuck married the love of his life, Irma Wilkinson, in South Haven, Michigan. The family moved to Riverside, California in 1967 where he was the owner and operator of Grano Welding Services. In 1970, he joined the Riverside Elks Lodge and in 2000 was granted life membership. Chuck was an active and involved member and at the time of his passing was president of the Calso Elks Pistol Club and a proud member of the American Legion. He was an avid stock car racer and enjoyed bowling and the NASCAR races.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Irma; his son, Tony and his wife Kelly; seven grandchildren, Scott, Kris, Jennifer, Steven, Eric, Brianna and Theresa; and one great-granddaughter Jaelynn. Chuck was preceded in death by his oldest son, Ron and his daughter-in-law Sandy. Chuck was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him and will be deeply missed by all.

Family and Friends will gather to say farwell, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11 A.M. in the Lodge Room of The B.P.O. Elks Riverside Lodge No.643, 6166 Brockton Ave., Riverside, CA with Pastor Steve Mason and Riverside Lodge Past Exalted Rulers officiating. Military Honors will rendered by the United States Navy.

Private family interment will be in Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, CA.
