He was born Dec. 26, 1916, in Jalisco, Mexico, and had lived in Cheyenne since 1953.
Mr. Grano served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He retired from the city of Cheyenne Sanitation Department and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
He was an avid gardener and a jack of all trades. He and his wife, Albina, were members of the YMCA where they also volunteered and were janitors.
Mr. Grano is survived by his step-children, Alfred Valdez of Las Vegas, N.M., Clara Gonzales of Cheyenne and Rose Valdez Gibson of Corpus Christi, Texas; his siblings, Ramon Grano, Margarita Romero and Susie Lopez Grano, all of Colorado; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Albina, whom he married in 1953; parents, Cecilio and Francesquita Grano; step-daugher, Margo Jones; three brothers, Augustine Grano, Roberto Grano, and Joe Grano; and a sister, Vivian Gurule.
Services are pending through Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
