Memorial service for Ted James Granger, 67, of Tyler, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011, at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. He passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011, in Tyler. Ted was born September 14, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Monroe Granger and Sarah Frances Force Granger. He was raised in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School. He later received his Associates Degree from the University of Texas Arlington and Aerospace Technology Degree from the University of Houston. Ted was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he was an aircraft refueler on the U.S.S. America. He enjoyed flying airplanes and watching football. He lived in Wills Point for three years prior to moving to Tyler two years ago. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents. Ted is survived by his son, Cammon Granger & fiancée, Adrianne, of Wills Point; brother, Monroe Granger & wife, Miki, of Mesquite; sister, Earlene Bethea & husband, Dewayne, of Tyler; two grandchildren, Gage Granger, of Wills Point and Jada Granger, of Wills Point and several nieces and nephews.
