Funeral services for Ruth Alice Blasdel, 79, of Richmond, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John's United Methodist Church in Richmond with the Rev. Lamar Clark officiating.
Burial wll be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Mrs. Blasdel died Thursday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob W. Blasdel of Richmond; three sons, Bill Blasdel of Sugar Land, Jerry Blasdel of Richmond and Jim Blasdel of Beasley; four daughters, Mary Reed of Lake Jackson, Ruth Werner of Richmond and Haroldetta Robertson of Sugar Land; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a 50-year member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Richmond.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Friday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Richmond. Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden. * * *
