Geanne Spanton Graham, age 84, of East Millcreek, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2014 in her home.

She was born August 8, 1929 at her parents home near Liberty Park, Salt Lake City. Her parents were Albert W. Spanton and Thelma E. Cook of Salt Lake City.

Geanne was the eldest of six children, including Glenn, Carol, Burt, John, and Dale Spanton.

She married Alexander Miller Graham, Jr. on October 23, 1948 in Evanston, Wyoming.

A graduate of Granite High School Class of 1947, she worked as a bookkeeper for numerous contractors over the years. Geanne teamed up with her mother, other family members, and friends in bowling competitions. She also enjoyed an occasional game of golf.

Geanne is survived by Alex and Ada Graham of East Patchogue, New York; and Vickie Graham, Ellen Graham Kennedy, Dan Kennedy, Alexander Kennedy, and Graham Kennedy of Salt Lake City. Surviving siblings include Carol and George Greco, Carol Spanton, and Dale and Julie Spanton; and lifetime best friend, Dorothy Lopez. She was predeceased in death by husband, Alexander Graham. Siblings preceding her in death were Glenn and Donna Spanton, Burt Spanton, and John Spanton.

A brief graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery, 1075 East College Street (4580 South), Millcreek Township.
A celebration for Geanne will follow at the home of her daughter, Ellen, at 1636 East Millbrook Road (3610 South) in East Millcreek.
