Bertie Elizabeth Noonkester Graham, 88, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Kroontje Health Care Center. She was born in Montgomery County, Va. on March 2, 1922 to the late Elbert and Julie Clark Noonkester and also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Campbell Graham, Sr. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Phelps Dillon of Charleston, S.C.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wade Campbell, Jr. and Pearl Graham of Riner, Richard A. "Dickie" Graham of Blacksburg, Jan Aaron and Wanda Graham of McCoy; two sisters, Ruth Jarrett of Radford, Gertrude Graham of Christiansburg; three brothers, James Noonkester, Kenneth Noonkester, Dennis Noonkester all of Blacksburg; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
