Deceased Name: Obituary: Barbara Graham Belliston
Barbara Graham Belliston, age 74, passed away on April 30, 1999 after suffering with a long illness.
She was born March 11, 1925 in Byron, Wyoming, to Alta Graham, who died shortly after childbirth. She married Kenneth Curtis Belliston April 13, 1943 in Salt Lake. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kenneth preceded her in death in 1982. Her love of people and church was evident through her service to others. She faithfully served in many leadership roles as Primary president, secretary of Relief Society, and was constantly busy with PTA. She was involved in scouting up to the age of 65, serving on the Stake Scout Board. She was employed by Temple Square Hotel for more than 25 years, working alongside her husband. Her last five years, she was lovingly cared for by her youngest daughter, Bonnie.
Survived by son, Rulon Graham (Joan); daughter, Alta Marie Black (Michael); and daughter, Bonnie Throne (David); 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by oldest son, Marlow Lenn, 1987.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 1999 at 12 noon at the Liberty Wells 2nd Ward, 500 E. 700 South. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to her children for funeral expenses. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Mortuary, Salt Lake.
