CLEARFIELD PROGRESS, Clearfield, PA, March 7, 1949 JOHN C GRAHAM EGYPT - John C. Graham, 78, a lifelong resident of Egypt, died at his home Sunday morning, March 6, at 10:45 o'clock following an illness of about two years.

He was born here Jan. 21, 1871 and was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

Surviving him in addition to his widow, Daffodil Amon Graham, are the following children: Melvin, Harold and Mrs. Florence Shirey, all of Woodland; Lewis, Mrs. Vida Narehood and Mrs. Iva Gormont, all of Clearfield; Mrs. Laura Shomo, Mrs. Marion Mayhew and Voyle, all of Shawville.

Among other survivors are 28 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Henry, Mt. Joy; Fred and Mrs. Lizzie Graham, both of Egypt and Mrs. Laura Michaels, of Hyde.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, March 9, at 2:30 o'clock from his home here in charge of Rev. W. F. Lias, of Clearfield and Rev. Carl Frost of Croft. Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery.

Friends may call at the home Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until time of the services.
