Funeral services were held Saturday at Advent Lutheran Church for former Cedarburg resident Ruth E. Grady, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz. who died Sept. 6, 1995.
Pastor Myron Olson officiated at the services. Burial was at Saukville Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Grady was born Aug. 1, 1924 in Plainview, Minn., the daughter of Rudolph and Clara (nee Carpenter) Miller. She married Donald Grady.
The couple moved to Cedarburg in 1950, and lived there until 1989, when they moved to Phoenix.
Mrs. Grady worked as a homemaker.
Survivors include: husband, Donald Grady of Phoenix; sons, Douglas (Joyce) Grady of Deerfield and Glen (Sue) Grady of San Diego; daughters Barbara Grady of Phoenix and Patricia (Michael) Lassila of Jackson; granddaughters Cynthia Grady of Torrance, Calif., Chelsea Lassila of Jackson and Christine Grady of Newhall, Calif; grandsons Christopher Grady of Newhall, Calif. and Alex Lassila of Jackson; great-grandson, Charles Pablico of Newhall, Calif.; step-grand children Kendra James of Chicago, and Bill Stelcher of Michigan; brothers: Paul (Juanita) Miller of Saukville, brother Arnold (Elaine)of Saukville, Donald "Duck" Miller of Milwaukee, Ralph (June) Miller of Plymouth, Leonard (Carol) Miller of South Milwaukee and Butch (Annie) Miller of Port Washington; sisters, Grace Melichar of Port Washington, Clara (Lambert) Nuemann of Green Lake and Irene (Bob) Dushenski of Grafton; sisters-in-law Janet (Keith) Steffen and Lila (Chuck) Reblin, all of West Bend; brothers-in-law Harold (Margie) Grady of Cedarburg and Allan (Lenore) Grady of Texas; other relatives and friends.
