Henry Gradel, 87, 518 East Wabasha Street (Winona), died this morning at Matteson Nursing
Home, Eyota, after being ill two years.

Mr. Gradel was born May 23, 1873, at Rollingstone, son of the late Mr and Mrs John Gradel. The retired farmer, paperhanger and painter lived here 70 years and was a member of Cathedral of
the Sacred Heart. He married Elizabeth Brang at Wilson, who died April 13, 1955.

Survivors are: two sons, Delphine, Rochester, and John, Winona; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Viola) Berg, Goodview; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Joseph Votruba, St. Paul.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 8:30am at Burke Funeral Home and at 9am at the Cathedral, the Very Rev. Msgr. Harold J. Dittman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, 7-9pm. Rosary will be said by Msgr. Dittman Friday at 8.
