She was born June 21, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Estella Mensch Kraus.
Dorothy graduated from Muncie Central High School and Ball State University. She was a pre-school teacher for Montessori. Dorothy was a member of both St. Jude and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Churches.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Jim (Sharon) Goul, Linda (Bill) Reed, Dan Goul, Teresa (Steve) Webb, Kevin (Vickie) Goul, William (Lisa) Goul and Robert Goul; brother, Bill Kraus; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Steve Goul, grandson, David Goul, and a brother, Bob Kraus.
